Homo sapien (today) "The industrial nations of the world and their governments have been swept forward by the pressure of invention, through a barrier they did not see, into a world they have not yet understood. As the resources of the earth become more depleted, populations more crowded and more deprived, the greater will be their effort to pass the problem on to the next generation. Self-deception will become more persuasive, optimism will take hold" Prof C.D.Darlington.

BBC Any Questions? How interesting all their answers are: showing how very little we have progressed socially, and why? Missing the ‘point’ in/our ‘The Fear of Freedom’ Erich Fromm. (fear of being labelled to the 20th century-isms of capitalism, socialism, communism, so on…

Regime and ‘Cultural Attitude Change’ USA and UK’ – ‘Barack Obama’ in the 21st Century! Who has got the responsibility? "I was reminded of something Justice Louis Brandeis once said: that in a democracy, the most important office is the office of citizen. Barack Obama ‘The Audacity Of Hope’.

Notes: (our money – ‘Taxpayers’) Money, everything i.e., education, infrastructure… – going to the ‘wrong place’ – ‘in the wrong circle’ – first. ‘The Enforcement of Deprivation’ / Imprisonment / Privations / Social Unrest / Wars
The only way to sort out a depression quickly is to ‘throw cash directly at all the ‘ordinary’ people’ (Keynesian Economics http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keynesian_economics USA’s 3% of annual GDP is not nearly enough: $1 given to – unemployed / poor / lower class / small ethnic minority: not to be given to the middle, or upper class, where money is saved and badly distributed, if at all. Social security must be spent, not saved, and is worth $1.60 to the countries overall economy. It is only a return of 0.50$ to the 1$ to rescue a ‘Bank’, or ‘Other Finaancial Institution’; but without a Bank, or some of the Other Financial Institutions you will be a very stuck! This lesson to eradicate poverty and deprivation, obviously has not been learnt by the greedy, or our governments (holding interest rates too high, for too long, example: ECB), UK, and USA’s – ‘lack of health-care’ – with their worst records on… USA and UK having the worst inequality record, poverty (children) and deprivation – childhood pregnancies, prison populations, so on…"By the 1980’s, because of drastic changes in the economy, welfare could not be relied on to contain working-class discontent…Imprisonment, as a mode of controlling the poor, the "surplus population", so on…Criminality created by the State (Media’s, negative hype and sale of news – State, propaganda and control). Controlling The Dangerous Class, so on…, throughout history, an appalling indictment; we need to look at "crime", who defines it, (the Judeo-Christian, failed ethic and ethos’s – many Schools, Institutions, Government and Parliament, with dangerous dogmas and illusions of a mass morality) and to what purpose, especially when the final result is the lack of decent conditions of life for the majority of the world’s people, and voraciously sumptuous consumption of earthly goods by small elites." ‘Science, Materialism And The Study Of Culture’ Murphy and Margolis. When it costs absolutely nothing to sort this out; like some of the more advanced countries in the West – how appalling are all the ones who think, or even worse, know that they are the ‘best and the most powerful’, but are really the worst! Ref, ‘The Certainty Of Carl Jung And Others’ http://luckyme0.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!A18BF3FCC5E126A2!676.entry Amateurs in the Money Markets – Gordon Brown, Alastair Darling, UK Budget 2010 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/3269234/Hugh-Hendry-blames-short-selling-ban-for-stock-market-fall.html  (Industrialized Nations of the West, may cost at present 7,000$ extra per US household, for the payout of the few greedy bankers and bad banks. This is what the average household has lost on top, of what they may already have lost on pensions, savings, so on…! Ref, BofE, FSA, and ECB. Social and financial collapse of Europe 2009, "I don’t know what the bank was thinking about" a top banker – I know, "It was only profit and bonus". About luckyme0

My First family, second marriage, bringing up my 18-year-old twins, boy, and girl. I am a third generation Humanist, who has some old handwritten information and notes; collected over many years. Someone may find the articles interesting, or helpful. They could bring back a little ‘reality’, after being ‘shocked’ and ‘brainwashed’, by some malicious group, or institution (REBT Therapy). People should know better, than to do this, to our very young, and the ‘obviously’ vulnerable! Go to easily accessible, non-superstitious knowledge that is not charlatanism! https://charleslizzy.com/2011/08/06/independent-schools-inspectorate-isi-marketing-spirituality-buzzword-or-maybe-even-for-you-to-shiver-at-the-something/ The blog has given me an incentive to order my thoughts, learn, and read up again, after a few non-thinking years of (very silly) imagination and passion. Why not, get your own key to a ‘door’, customise it to suit you, and it can be, all of your very own! Don’t believe, or be led by someone else’s; inherited, stupid, and a very likely (past, and not of today’s) ‘totally preposterous reality’s’. Only some interest in the ‘really big questions’, keeps life above the level of a farce, and very little else! KEEP THINKING! Some of the posts may need some correcting. Interests: REBT Counselling, Atheism, Secularism, Humanism, Psychology, Reading, Popular Science, School Ethos, Philosophy, History, Family, Parenting, Psychology, Horse Riding, Sailing, Rescue Boat Driver, Skiing (Teppichswinger), TV Documentaries, Motorbike Cross Country Riding, Volunteer Sports Stewarding, Writing, Primitive Man, Pre-history, Social Anthropology, British Humanist Association, BHA, Meaning of Life, The Big Questions, Where am I, What am I, Why am I, Hippie Love, Knowledge, Education, Globalisation. Favorite quote: “The world belongs to those who, at least to some degree, have figured it out.” Carl Sagan, ‘The Demon Haunted World’, ‘Contact’, and other famous books DVD ‘Cosmos’. The warning of another and horrendous, “Age of Superstition”. “Isn’t there something deeply absurd in the presumption that children ought to inherit beliefs from their parents. It can be deeply damaging, even lethally divisive. A ‘them’, with an ‘against us’, mentality” – Professor Richard Dawkins. “The will to believe is stronger than mere reason in the vast majority of people” – Dr J.Brown, Army Psychologist of the 1960′s. Humans will believe in almost anything, in fact, they seek it! Why? “98% of us, trained to be just good consumers, let’s train our children to be the 2% who have their very own creativity and discernment”; quote by a famous surreal artist. “The lack of reason brings forth monsters”. “Global interconnectedness is lethal against mass religion, nationalism, racism, and other destructive memeplexes. Let us connect everybody they hate it in restrictive regimes”; from the ‘meme learning group’, Richard Brodie’s book, ‘Virus Of The Mind’ (Richard Brodie a designer for ‘Microsoft Word’). Following on, J.Bronowski, and ‘The Ascent Of Man’ TV series, and a book http://www.bbcshop.com/science+nature/the-ascent-of-man/invt/9781849901154/ with the last DVD in this series, ‘The Long Childhood’ being especially revealing. ‘Prehistory’ and the ‘Making of the Human Mind’ by Colin Renfrew, with P.Wilson’s, ‘The Domestication of the Human Species’, and Nigel Spivey’s, TV series and book, ‘How Art Made The World’, offers some further explanations.
